Yongchun Famous Tea – Yongchun Bergamot Tea
Yongchun bergamot tea is the tender shoots of the bergamot variety tea tree, which is made by the method of making oolong tea in southern Fujian. Yongchun bergamot dry tea has thick particles, which are about 30% larger than Tieguanyin and other oolong teas; Yongchun bergamot after brewing has a fruity aroma similar to citron or Sydney, and the bottom of the leaves is round and thick.
Geographical Features of Yongchun
Yongchun County has abundant rainfall and the average annual temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius. The mountain soil is dominated by red soil with generally high organic matter, which is very suitable for tea planting. Now the main tea tree varieties in Yongchun County are bergamot, narcissus and a small amount of cinnamon tea.
